Cap Base Coat/Primer can be used on virtually any substrate as a base coat prior to application of the Polar Cap roof coating. It is primarily used for laminating polyester membrane to the existing substrate. Product is medium gray (opaque) in color Recommended Coverage: approximately 100 square feet per gallon, providing 3-4 mils cured film thickness. When #272 polyester mesh membrane is embedded, coverage is 40 square feet per gallon and the cured thickness is 16-18 mils.
